We are the Body Happy Organisation
We’re an award-winning non-profit helping schools, families and communities tackle body shame and build lasting change.
Our work combines education, inclusion and prevention – through joyful, evidence-informed programmes that centre children and young people.
How we work with you
For Schools
We help schools lead real culture change - tackling body shame early, before harm happens. The Body Happy Schools Programme is the UK’s first whole-school approach to body respect, combining CPD, pupil workshops, peer advocacy, curriculum resources and tools for the wider community of families, parents and caregivers.
Research & Impact
We’re building an evidence base for body respect education - from piloting innovative programmes to researching what works and sharing insights that drive lasting cultural change.
For Partner Organisations
We work with councils, ICBs, charities and funders to co-create strategic partnerships that widen access to body respect education, tackle health inequalities, and drive systems change at scale.
For Families and Communities
We offer free tools, resources, and guidance to help families and communities support body respect at home - and champion this work in their schools.
Our approach is:
The body image crisis starts early - but it doesn’t have to.
Children as young as five are absorbing harmful body ideals. This affects their health, learning and relationships - especially those already facing disadvantage.
We’re here to shift that narrative, one school at a time
