Join our teacher support group

A monthly support group for educators invested in student body esteem.

An opportunity to build community with like-minded professionals, share best practise, problem-solve together and connect with others who get it.

We know that creating a body affirming culture in a setting can be hard, particularly if it means challenging some of the systems which are deeply ingrained and embedded. It only takes one person to create a ripple effect though, and that person could be you!

Our new FREE virtual monthly teacher support group is a drop-in club for educators invested in creating body affirming spaces for their students to thrive in. This peer support group is run by Victoria Henry, a Body Happy Org teacher and workshop facilitator, who also works as a PSHE lead and year 6 teacher in an international school and has first-hand experience of implementing positive culture change in her own work settings, and knows some of the challenges this can bring.

If you’re feeling confused, isolated, full of self-doubt or just seeking the solidarity of community in your mission to support your students, then this is for you.

Each group takes place on the first or second Monday of every month during term time, at 4pm, via zoom, and lasts for one hour. You can join for the whole session or just drop-in when you are able to. You don’t need to have used any of our resources or done our training to attend, this is a free group that is open to all educators. You can attend every month’s group, or just come along for one to discuss a particular issue or challenge that you need peer support with.

Fill out the form below to be added to the list, to ensure you receive the email each month with the zoom details for the group.

Next session: Monday 13th may

(Please note: Our teacher support group is not a replacement for our CPD training workshops. This is an informal peer support group to share ideas and discuss specific challenges, rather than a CPD training opportunity. See our CPD workshops for formal Body Happy Kids training opportunities.)
